Final Thoughts
I have learned so much with this course. This is such a revolutionary way for professional development. The idea that we can choose the topic of study is useful. The interaction and interactive ways of participation allow one to maximize their learning experience. The ability for students, teachers, administrators, and parents to communicate with ease and convenience opens so many doors. Thank you for a great learning experience.

Podcast and Webcast
Interesting! My 3 year old son and I just watched a rocket take off from the NASA site. He thought it was cool! Now he is running all over the house pretending to be a rocket.
The radiowillow web is absolutely precious. I listened to the class studying the Revolutionary war. Such a great project. I am sure parents loved showing that off. What a great way to get the children to share and discuss what they are learning.
Well, I need to go bath my astronaut now!

Wow Wow Wiki
What a great tool for brainstorming and peer tutoring! I can see the benefits and the controversy behind this. This would be great for collaborating on the same paper. Also, for hypothesising on a science project. It could even be set up for peer critiquing. So that the person critiquing would comment on another student's work and then adds his/her own work.
The controversy of anyone being able to add "grafiti" is huge. Very scary, with so many preditors. I think as an educator we do need to maintain a watchful eye on our students.

Educational Blogs
I feel that we as a society are on a brand new threshold. A new doorway into the organization of many peoples thoughts. Could you imagine if we would of had this tool 200 years ago? People could blog about current events, such as the civil war. How neat would that be to reread those 200 years later? It blows my mind to think of the possibilities and the information that is being gathered, researched, organized, and read each second. The RSS feeds are a brilliant idea, which is truly changing the face of the Internet. The past two years have pushed the Internet to another level. A level where information and thoughts are changing the world and our society!

My First Blog
Don't really know what to start with. This online class that I am taking has forced me into this brand new realm of writing, thinking, teacher, brainstorming, and discussing. I am pretty excited about this. I have been told in the past that my mind is a like a ping pong game -- I bounce from one thought to another. So, this does seem like a good outlet for me to get some of the thoughts out. It is either this or medication!! Medication is always an option.
